What is Helium? Is Helium some kind of chemical? Yeah something like that. But Helium is also a site where you publish articles, and make a little extra money. I am going to give you my personal experience with Helium and hopefully you will be able to decide if you want to give it a shot.
Helium is basically earning money through advertising and paying out a fraction of these earnings to writers. They ask writers to come and submit articles. Anyone can write for Helium, there is no application process, you just write something and submit it into the Helium system. It is immediately published on the Internet for the whole world to see. Helium is compared to a site like Triond. When people are searching for information through search engines they may end up finding your submitted article. People also search for articles directly from the Helium site. When someone clicks on an article to view it the writer will be paid a tiny bit of money. If many people read your article the small amounts may start to add up.
You are probably starting to wonder if the pay is not that great on the website, why should I submit articles for the wesbsite? The simple answer is it helps to get your name out there and advertise maybe a blog or website of yours for free basically. The pay may not be the greatest on Helium. But Helium could back link to your website, which in turn may increase your traffic and ratings. Other then that Helium seems to be a waste of time as the payouts are not all that great. My conclusion Helium is not really worth the time.
